Auditioning with Convergence
Convergence Theatre Company has a commitment to an equitable, diverse, and inclusive audition and casting experience for all involved. While our rehearsals are all in person, we can facilitate digital auditions upon request. If you require other accommodations for the audition process, please let us know. CTC seeks to provide a performance platform to experienced theatre artists and newcomers alike. While we hope to see memorized monologues/sides at auditions, we are more than happy to allow auditions "on-book" (script in hand for reading lines). We never precast our shows, so every role is available at the time of auditions. We know that the audition process can be daunting, and we want everyone to have a great time, so feel free to reach out and ask questions. We can't wait for you to be a part of our team!

Godspell

Time slots on April 19th and 20th will be 10 minutes. The director will email your time slot after your audition form is submitted online. Performers are strongly encouraged to sign up in advance as coming to auditions without signing up may result in a long wait for your audition slot. All actors will need to join the April 21st dance audition at 6:30pm at the Lee Burrows Center in Marysville.
About the Play:
Convergence Theatre Company is seeking performers for a production of the hit musical Godspell! Godspell is a comedic 70’s rock themed musical about the life of Jesus and his followers. The show is both light hearted and profound, challenging the audience to love the world around us in spite of everything we know of it. The play's flexible scripting gives opportunity to a wide range of performers with parts available for people in their late teens all the way up into their early 80’s.
Cast: Godspell’s cast size can range from 10-14 performers Ages (both male and female) are late teens to early 80's. Total casting size will be determined based on the performers who audition.
Performance Dates: July 7-9, 14-16, 2023
